# Can I change plans?
You can upgrade or downgrade to another plan at any time in your account settings. Upgrades are immediate, while downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
# Do you offer a discount on annual plans?
Yes. Please refer to https://simplebackups.io/pricing/ (opens new window) for our pricing.
# How to redeem a coupon?
If you've received a discount coupon for SimpleBackups, you'll have to redeem it in order to benefit the deal associated to it (*).
In this case you can easily do it by following these steps:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to the settings page (opens new window) (by clicking on your avatar on the top right of the header) and navigate to the Payment method section
- Under the "Redeem Coupon" area, input your coupon code and click on the "Redeem" button Once done you'll see a confirmation message displayed on screen.
Note that in order to redeem a coupon you first must have selected a valid subscription plan and entered your payment method information.

# What happens if my subscription expires?
You will be downgraded to the free plan and will be able to use the app as long as you do not exceed the limits of the free plan.
# What happens if I go over my plan limit?
If you exceed your plan limit you will have the option to either upgrade to a higher plan or free up some resources to stay on your current plan or even downgrade to the free one.
